What Is the Colombian Type V Tourist Visa?

Requirements for the Colombian Type V Tourist Visa

1. A signed letter from the applicant or the sponsoring person/company that includes:

   • Full identification details (as in the passport).

   • Explanation of the relationship with the foreign applicant.

   • Purpose of the trip and a declaration of financial responsibility for all travel and stay expenses.

2. Bank statements from the applicant or sponsor for the last six (6) months.

3. If a company sponsors the trip, include:

   • Company name and NIT (Tax ID) if registered in Colombia.

   • Complete contact details of the company.

4. Copy of the applicant’s passport bio page showing full identification.

5. Details of the planned activities, travel itinerary, and length of stay in Colombia.

All documents must be legible and up to date, and in some cases, apostilled and translated into Spanish by an official translator.
